Note added January 2008:

With the passing of Margi (back) and the last of the senior Ngadjonji elders directly involved, Emma Johnston (right) and Jessie Calico (front), content is no longer being added to this site at present.
The last addition (November 2004) was a report of Margi and the Elders receiving a posthumous Reconciliation Award from Queensland Premier Peter Beattie.
Much of importance has happened since then - most notably the Ngadjonji Native Title Determination.
It was the wish of Margi and the Elders that this record of the historical and cultural materials that they had collected should continue to be available as an educational resource, especially for the young people, indigenous and others, of the Atherton Tableland.
The site's ongoing presence on the internet has the approval and support of the next generation of Ngadjonji Elders.
